Shop ride today took us down to Calabasas. Part of the group then split to ride Topanga out towards the beach returning via Old T. Three of us opted to Mulholland back towards Cornell.

Overcast weather was cold and damp and by the time we hit 7 minute hill, the ground was wet. Two riders passed us at the top. We caught them part way down, with one on the ground bleeding from a head wound and cars pulled over lending assistance. Hit the turn too hot or simply spun out.

We went slowly the rest of the way down. Drizzles began falling and we were soon wet, with no visibility out of fogged over sunglasses. Tons of rocks lined Mulholland, falling from the side burms. A full on slalom course.

Came upon a friend of mine a few miles later with road rash, the result of a slideout on Fernwood.

It's a mess out there, but mostly bad in the hills where the moisture was dropping.

Be careful!

I got caught on the streets of Wilmington yesterday. Very interesting...

At least I got a delicious cheese pupusas out of it.
