Ok I start.
To the woman who drafted off of me from Sunset Beach to Huntigton beach and then complimented me on "nice pull". Sorry I was a bit grumpy I didn't have my morning coffee before I left for a ride. :) I am considering replacing one of the water bottle holders with a coffee mug holder.

To the downed rider I saw yesterday morning on Wilshire/Westwood--hope you and your bike are doing ok.
Also, to all the people who were at the corner of Wilshire/Western at around 7:20pm last night for the Critical Mass ride--you rock. I wish I could've joined you but I needed to get home and sleep. Oh, and to that one guy whose rear wheel I bumped with my bike--sorry.
to the noob fatarse that I almost nailed cause he swerved into my lane. Thanks for getting me excited on my first kill, I hope i dont see you again.

FYI: A 16 paper coffee cup fits fairly well in the seat-tube mounted bottle cage, but you can't really drink from it while riding.

Oh, I'll find a way. If I could enjoy a boiled potato on todays ride, I can enjoy the coffee!

yo, i will, eventually. I squeeze in rides when i can, usually without any planning as my work keeps me super busy. Even when i'm not at work, i am preparing for work.

To the several people who wave and I don't wave back. I should and want to but it just takes me by surprise. I guess I always expect the worst from people.

Um, yes, you can 'cause I have. Drink down 1/3 first, or enjoy a nice camouflage sticky crankset. BTDT!

Just drink it without sugar.
The cups at work are too weak to drink from well while riding up the hill. I used to stop and get a cup at work sometimes, and then ride the rest of the way up the hill, but had to be really careful not to let the bike rock very much or I'd burn my ankles.

to the doucebag in full milram kit and weighing a svelte 250lbs., that i pulled away from TWICE going uphill and into the wind on vista del mar, it isn't cool to pass me within a foot like you owned me on the DOWNHILL at the end of the road. next time, i put you down into the on-coming traffic.

Just because I put on a few pounds lately does not give you the right to make fun of my new Milram kit.
P.S. ummm... Vista del Mar is pretty flat.
P.P.S. I DO own you. At least for those hours I paid for.

when you are doing long sustained sprint intervals, it is uphill...gradually, but still up.................and into the wind.

To the group of riders somewhere between Dana Point and Military camp, along the trail that runs between the ocean and I5. Sorry if I was a bit grumpy, but I wasn't sure how to politely say that I an my friend were rotating pulls and weren't interesting in integrating new people in who jumped on his while un-announced while I was pulling. So the head shake and "Dude" was the best I could manage as I gently "pushed" the guy off my friends wheel. I was a bit out of breath at that point.
On a side note. The ride was awesome! We giggled like little girls riding on the Tarmac, right before the entrance to the base, and making wide sweeping "arcs". That got us a lot of weird looks from a group of riders riding on a side. :)

To the former Cat 1 racer who chatted with me from the Bowl today, you're funny and good luck in med school.
