For some reason, I can't get my rear deraileur to shift into the biggest gear. I've loosened the low limit screw per instructions from the Zinn manual. But that doesn't make a difference. What is the next step? I now have a Shimano 105 9 speed instead of the 10 speed. There hasn't been any recent changes to affect the shifting that I know of.

The slack on the cable might not let it go there?

If the derailleur limit screws are properly adjusted, you should be able to shift into low gear by hand -- set the bike on a shop stand and turn the crank while pushing the derailleur inward. If you can get low gear in this fashion, your problem is in the cable itself or, less likely, in the gear lever. You may simply need to take some slack out of the cable, as revolator suggested in his response, above.

I find it's a bit easier to pull an exposed cable.
