Northeast - Good NH LBS?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

It's been suggested that we just go down to Boston to find a decent bike shop but, are there any closer to home? We've got two kids under 3 and that's just not conducive to the 2.5+ hour one way drive down to Boston just to wander around and get lost trying to find bike shops (not to mention a pain if we needed to go back for service or whatever). We live in the Sunapee area so, we're used to having travel to the Upper Valley or Concord/Manchester to do anything. We can handle a 45-60 min drive to find a decent shop, we just don't want to have to deal with Boston!

I like the Goodales (http://www.goodalesbikeshop.com/goodales/dept.asp?s_id=0&dept_name=store+hours+and+locations&dept_id=3188&WT.svl=deptnav1) Nashua location, but there's a Concord and Hookset location as well.
There are four bike shops in Manchester:
The Bike Barn on South Commercial street.
The Alternative Bike Shop on Mast road.
Jakes Bike Shop on Kelley street.
Concord has Revolution Cycles and Eastern Mountain Sports, which I have read on other forums that say it has a good bike department.

Thanks for the recommendations; I really appreciate them. We've checked out the Goodales in Concord and Hooksett. The guy in Hooksett was very helpful and also said that there were a lot more bikes down in the Nashua shop since that's their main warehouse. I'm still shopping around. :)

I just saw this thread - Nault's in Manchester has a good selection of Trek, Giant, Lemond. They have a very good selection of bikes, and some good closeout deals as well. Check out their site. http://www.naultsbikeshop.com/
We hit up the Hooksett one today, and the saleswoman was quite good; we were pleased and will be heading back for some test rides next weekend--if we're not getting another foot of snow or 3 inches of rain that is.
