Bicycle Mechanics - trouble finding sizing and year on Jamis Eclipse

I recently bought an eclipse frame on ebay sold to me as a 2005 however looking at the very limited info available (at least that I've experienced) I've seen 2004 sometimes associated with a pic that looks like mine
So basically I'm looking for the year of this frame and the front derailleur clamp size and seat post size.

sorry about the pic quality it was the only pic I took before coming back to college after break, but if it helps the rear chain stays are carbon fiber and its blue/silver.

this is my first build so I'm not familiar with resources on this sort of info. I emailed Jamis with these questions but they took two weeks to respond and only answered one question which was italian or english threading for the BB, and there website is impossible to navigate to find older models (especially now that the eclipse was discontinued this year)

any help on this would be much appreciated:D

A caliper should quickly determine the front derailleur clamp diameter as there are typically only three in use these days; 1-1/8" (28.6 mm), 1-1/4" (31.8 mm) and 1-3/8" (34.9 mm). Any bike shop will have a seatpost gauge which is a calibrated tapered rod that you insert into the seat tube until it stops and read the diameter.

As to model year, the serial number is typically engraved on the bottom of the bottom bracket shell (it may be under a plastic cable guide). The serial number should let Jamis tell you exactly when the frame was made and it's dimensional details if you haven't already measured them yourself.

I see you live in Pittsburgh, I'm in North Oakland and lived in the south hills before, once I finish putting this together you got any shop recommendations for fine tuning/cable install? I'm near Iron City bikes, not familiar with them though.

I'm in the South Hills but there are two shops in the city I know. Pittsburgh Pro at 5876 Forbes St. in Squirrel Hill is good but a bit pricey and pompous. Biketek, which is right across the street from them, is also good and easier to deal with. I also don't know anything about Iron City Bikes.

For an adventure, stop at Jerry Kraynicks at 5003 Penn Ave in East Liberty near West Penn Hospital. It has to be seen to be believed!

Otherwise, all of the other shops I know about are pretty far out of the city.
