View Full Version : Antigua and side trips to Livingston, Rio Dulce, and Tikal
Working on the words to describe the experience.
Now that, I can understand. Your pix, however, did a pretty good job. ThanX for sharing!!!! :)

never posted to your thread before, but I have been following you since the beginning. It's great to hear your stories and see the pictures. So many journals I've read, the people have been on a time restraint, and it seems like they are only concerned about the amount of mileage each day. I would love to do what you are doing, and spend time in each of the cities. Have fun and thanks for sharing with us.

Dave your Journey is amazing! Thanks for all the post' and best of luck with the rest of your travels, you're inspirational. What do you plan on doing when you get to the Darian Gap? and what's your route through Colombia? Are you having any second thoughts about the security in Colombia. Thanks for any response and ride on!!!! Thanks again
Hey Mike Good to see you posting again. You still stuck in the jungles of Miami lmao.Seriously just getting caught up on Dave's journal and it looks like he is in party mode again.I feel sorry for the natives they sure must be getting restless.I know I coudn't keep up with him .By the way you still riding your bike any?

Thanks!
I am not riding thru the Darien Gap, I will probably look for a boat ride around to Cartegena or maybe fly, but I'd rather the first. Don't wanna take too much stuff apart! Columbia is a little more complicated. I might be meeting up with a local friend who will take me on a tour of a little riding, a little hiking, a little bussing. We'll see when I am closer. About the second thoughts, only when I see the sneers on other misguided travelers faces. Well, I want to be smart about it, but you have to be aware in all places where you are around a new and different culture. I think I have been doing ok and we'll see if my common sence can take me farther with no serious injuries. Experiences are welcome!
Peace out!
Dave
