Great Lakes - stationary bike or trainer?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I havent been using my trainer because of the sheer boredom instead Ive been on a stationary bike all winter. Is there a reason I should be on a trainer rather than a stationary? If there is a good reason I will try to make it happen. Ive been going to the gym to use the stationary and then lifting to bulk up a little.

The only difference is that you can use exactly the same bike on a trainer so you stay accustomed to the geometry. Otherwise, no.
yeah ive been doing a workout lately on the trainer that Chris Carmichael came up with in Bicycling magazine and realized how much i miss the road. Not to mention that this workout kicks my butt.

Get rollers and work on your form and technique.
