I've been a member since Jan. '07 and NorCal has not seen the likes of what went on here recently. Neither have the tandem, women's or 50+ forum. Not saying that there hasn't been conflict and disagreement, just not the baiting, antagonizing or name-calling that we saw here.

On topic: I had two spectacular crashes last year. Our tandem was doored in April, and we crashed while attempting a hairy tight-turning descent in August. Ouch.

Ouch indeed! I'm not going to jinx myself by saying I haven't had a crash, but I have been off the bike with stitches in my leg (x4), my back, my arm, and my scalp (x3) within the last year. I don't need any bike related scars to go with these to show off!

I appreciate you taking the time to respond at length, cuda. It's helpful to see the situation from your point-of-view as moderator.

I'm going to close this thread now. I'll leave it here for the good on (and off) topic discussion in contains, but I think everyone will agree that its run its course. Ya'll stay safe out there so another Crash rollcall thread doesn't need to be started. :)
