Again I wanted to say thank you to everyone who gave me advice and pointers on the various bikes I've been looking at lately. I've decided to go with the Rivendell Atlantis in 66cm, despite the large size I still have plenty of clearance on and I think it will serve me very well. The shop is building a wheel set, putting on some fenders and making a couple of other minor changes and additions to the build but I should be able to pick it up next week! I'll post pics as soon as I can. :D

Congratulations!! I've had mine for about seven months and it still seems like a new and wonderful thing. As the economy tanks and the world generally goes to sht, a person needs a good bicycle.

6' 2" I'm half legs, 37" (94cm) anatomical inseam (not my clothes measurement).

I was surprised too but riding the bike it feels like it was made for me. It's a more old school bike fit, that allows me to get the handlebars near level with the seat easily, should be excellent for touring!
