• Has anyone here ridden this ride before?
• Is anyone riding it this year?
Myself, my wife, and a couple friends are planning on driving over from Knox-Vegas to participate in the 60K portion of the ride. This will be my wife and I's first charity ride and we are both looking foward to it. I've been riding a bit over the winter so I feel like I'm in good enough shape to enjoy the ride even on my heavy hybrid bike. My wife has not been training quite so much and I worry that she won't be able to enjoy the ride but I think she'll make it to the finnish even if she's tired or hurting.
Maybe I can use this ride as leverage to convince my wife to let me buy a dropped bar road bike for future charity rides? :D
Anyone with comments to share about doing this ride in the past or planning on attending this year are welcome to chime in.
