hey, i know some of y'all live in philadelphia, pa. anyone know someone who can powder coat a frame/fork, and do nice work? i'm thinking that's what i oughta do.

You might check the Yellow Pages under powder coating or painting. Also check with a couple of big motorcycle shops. Powder coating seems to be a big thing with motorcyclists. The big powder coating shop here does mostly motorcycle stuff but does enough bicycle frames to know how to treat them. I plan to have them do a couple of frames for me. They quoted me $125 for a single color no decals, etc.

hey my friend had his sputnik 'da bomb' powdercoated a few months ago. it cost him 75 bones.....this place also does chroming....dont remember what the name of the place is, but ill post it in this thread later tonight....they did a pretty good job too!

I soooo want to get my frame chromed...any idea on an approximate cost? I 'guess' I could call... ;)
