I wonder how much this would accomplish. I mean, this is going to the WV state government, right? What do they care about a guy in Troy, NY signing it? They want to be re-elected. I contribute nothing to that. Good luck though.
Is there a person/organization that is leading this effort against the classification change? Has a large manufacturer, maybe Trek, Specialized, local company, been contacted and asked for assistance? I would think you are going to need to bring in some big guns to get anywhere with this.

No - this is FEDERAL. We're talking about a bunch of suits and $$ and sierrs club folks from Colorado deciding whats best for the WV mountains - TODAY. Next month it could be the Adirondacks.

I hope you are able to get a BUNCH of mountain bikers to attend all of the FS public hearings on it. That is probably where your voices will be most heard.
