So, I'm about to have a frame built for me out of columbus XCr tubing. I wanted to run my ideas by the internet before I signed off on them with the frame builder. Here's my basic specs, and what im thinking.

weight: 195 lbs
height: 6'4"
inseam: 34"

So, here's what im thinking. 59.5cm Seat Tube. 59 Top Tube. I'm not sure what the merits of different ST and HT angles are; I've heard 74, 75 or 76 degrees. What's a good compromise angle good for TT and sprint races? Probably going to do a 0 degree TT. I'm also not sure about what amount of BB drop there should be?

I also was wondering about track-ends for it. Anyone know who makes nice stainless track-ends? I'd like one with a cutout/relief above the slots.

So, what do people think? Anything else to take into consideration?

Track frames are pretty specialized; tall bottom bracket, steep head angle, ? -not sure what else. You're on the right track, no pun intended, by asking lots of questions. Good luck.

You mention TT, I assume you are talking about Kilo and Pursuit type events.

I would probably go with a 74.5 or 75 SA and a 74 or 74.5 HA. For sustained power efforts you want to be further over the bb, also, since you are have a coustom all purpose bike built I would concider a slightly forward sloping TT angle. maybe -1 or -1.5 degree. That way you could get a more much more aero position by flipping or lowering the stem. If you look at dedicated TT/Pursuit bikes they have pretty short head tubes to make it possible to get really low.
