It's not a 'real' bike, and it's not a recumbent, just a bicycle-shaped exercise machine. I did a google search and the first one I turned up listed for $289 plus $35 S/H. So $125 is probably fair. Personally, I wouldn't get it unless it was close enough to pick up myself, in which case I'd check it out for condition before accepting delivery. For that price ($289 new) I would not expect it to be 'whisper quiet.'
