I've heard some raves in this section about Voler bibs from Velowear. Are these the ones called "Peloton" bibs that go for about $50 on sale? I'm not too wild on shorts that have billboard lettering on them, but will give these a try if they're supposed to be a pretty good deal.

I like Voler bibs. I use the ones from Hammer Nutrition because they are much less expensive. They pass them on for just over cost so that you can act as a billboard for them, but you end up with bibs for under $40 usually.

PM me if you need a reference on there. I think it saves you 15% off your first pruchase - just not sure if it works on the clothing. I know it applies to the drinks, bars, supplements.

I love my Voler bibs. I think they are the best cycling apparel purchase (along with PI amfibs & Smartwool socks) I've ever made. I have the older version with the "Cantera" chamois. I just looked at the velowear site and saw that they changed the pad on the newer Avanti model. Looking at the Peloton, I think they're just the avanti (my/older version) with the big "Voler" logo all over the the place.

They're great bibs and I have a pair that are now approaching 4 years old. Granted, I do launder and take of them so that they will last long too...

For 2008 the Hammer shorts list at $39.95 and the bibs at $49.95. Still a good deal even with the Hammer logo.

Unfortunately, like all the other cycling clothes on Hammer Nutrition's site, if you're not small/medium, it's backordered. Even then some things are completely backordered regardless of size. Everyone must have jumped on those deals.
