I have a plan to tour Spain and Portugal this winter and would like to hear from anyone who has information or experience with routes, weather, and places and know of any interesting events. I know the area well, as I have backpacked through this region countless times, but I have never taken my bike. Areas I plan to cycle include: Andalusia, Extremadura, the Porto/Rio Douro Valley, Asturia, Vasco/Euskadi, Aragon and Catalunya. Also, if anyone is interested in joining me for part of this cycletour you are welcome to contact me.
