Road Cycling - When are the new Bianchis going to be released?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Does anyone know when Bianchi is going to announce their new line for the US?

I just got back from Interbike and I can say that the new Bianchi line looks great. They have a new steel bike with a carbon rear end (both seatstays and chainstays) dedacchi tubeset that rides really nice. The rest of the line is pretty hot too. I have a catalog and since I am a dealer I can probably find out whatever you need to know. Let me know if you have any questions.

This one looks interesting. :)
I'm wondering what's going to be available in the $1200-$1700 MSRP price range as far as Road bikes are concerned. I am currently looking at either a Veloce, Imola or possibly a Vigorelli. Is there anything new on the 2004s for these models?
What is the Virata? It looks nice!

this one looks cool as a good matter, although I would've prefered light STEEL frame. ALfana is the GIRO frame but with straight handle bar:[IMG]
oh man, i really like that one with the carbon stays, i wonder how much the employee price is....i have to sell my SL Lite now
So Bianchi is using the "Alfana" name again. My son rides a lugged steel Alfana road bike. Not sure what the vintage is, since I bought it used and the components may not be the originals. Currently, it is equipped with Shimano RS600 8-speed STI shifters.
I want info on this bike!!!!

Do you know about how much this will run? Sounds expensive that's for sure.

I was told the bike with Centaur will cost $2,200 and higher for Ultegra and Chorus.

The Alfana gets a total make-over for 2004. Same Giro Al frame with both carbon seat stays and fork, Shimano 105, 700x23C tires, RockShox seat post and straight handle bars.
I've tested the Giro 2003, the ride was superb: stealthy and like rolling on feathers, now the ride took place on an almost perfect parking lot, I'm sure the ride on a real harsh road wouldn't be as smooth, some stiffness and bumpiness is expected like all Al frames. Granted, the Alfana should have the same nice ride, just made better with the shock seat post.
Personally, I would've loved the Alfana in Reynolds 631/525 combo steel just like the Vigorelli, the perfect combination of comfort and durability on a bike.
Corsaire
