So how many of you big shots are going to make the drive to Baton Rouge to see 100+ miles of Louisiana's worst (that's saying a lot) roads?

I'm signed up for the B race, though I realize that finishing with my bike intact is the primary goal. under 6hours will be icing.

It's supposed to rain some this week, just enough to pack the 30 miles of gravel so the course should be fast and clean. I've ridden it a couple times this winter and I'm hoping my new 12-27 cassette will keep me on the bike up more of the hills :o

Botto- I've got an extra tube with your name on it

I had planned on it but we have a race 10 minutes away from my house this weekend and I have family coming. Waiting for the reports though, looks fun.

i was thinking about it. have been done a few training rides with a local team in memphis, that's going down. i believe there's a guy on the team who's won it for the past two years.

anyway, paying gas money for a +/- 12 hour round trip, plus motel with no teammates to split the costs, added with race fees, to ride a 100 mile race, with no support, no knowledge of the course, and a high probability of punctures, rendering the race into a training ride... unfortunately i'll have to pass.

sounds like a great race.
