Has anyone thought of putting a 26" wheel on an EZ-1 recumbent. Would it be possible. I have a two year old EZ-1, and was wondering if it could be done. I'm new to bents and never built one or modified one. They say say the only stupid question, is the one not asked. Thank You Rogermo

Since stock is 20"rear and 16" front, you would have clearance problems on the rear with a 3" +/- larger radius wheel and the front fork would need to be changed as well. It would be a significantly different bike. More or less a DIY
project with a TIG welding course thrown in. Steve

I have recently read where someone increased the size of the front wheel of an EZ 1 by changing the front fork with a Tour Easy, and going with a 20" front. They indicated it worked fine. Sorry no info on the rear.
