I remember hearing that the Panaracer Fire XC Pro is better for one wheel. The problem is I can't remember if it is suppose to be better for the front or the rear. This is a f/r tire so it can be used on either. Could someone or everyone please tell me where this tire excells, front or rear? thanks
Try it.
It works well at either end. I'd run it up front and run a Michelin Comp 24.1 (2.5 for me, maybe 2.1 for you) on the rear.

I have it on front and back. the grip in the rear is decent but could be better.

Thanks. I have tried them on both. So far it feels that the front is a little better. Like you said montlake_mtbkr the grip could be a little better in the rear, I've noticed it a couple of times. thanks

i run the Panaracer Fire XC on the rear. On the front it breaks away at odd times, but in my expereience is a pretty good rear tire
