My bike has Michellen Pro 2's now. They need t obe replaced. Is there a quality tire out there that doesnt cost a fortune? I have $25 on my Performance Bike credit. Just trying to get the best bang for the buck. Thanks in advance everyone!
Look at Probikekit.com. They have the best prices on tires in my experience. You can get Pro 2s for $30 each (shipping included) or Michelin Carbons for $25. They usually have Rubino Pro for $20, but they seem to be out at the moment. I have liked all three very much.

The PBK deal on Pro Race2's is hard to beat but if you want to go low budget and use your Performance credit Performance has the wire version of the Victorio Rubino on sale at $12.99 each. About 80 grams heavier than the PR2 and not folding but a nice tire.

Since it's mentioned in the OP, I'll hope this is on topic: How much does everyone consider to be "a fortune" to spend on tires? I spent around $50/ea on my old Marathon+ 1.75" tires for my MTB commuter, got 3000+ miles out of them, and the guy I gave the bike to will get another few thousand miles out of them. I spent $45/ea on my studded tires and it saved me spending $100 in gas money so I consider that I came out on the plus side, and I'll use them again next winter. My Conti UG's didn't cost me anything because they were swapouts on my new bike, but I have no issues with paying full $33 - $35 retail for them because they last a long time.
That being said, Vredestein Fortezza SE's are on sale at Performance for $22 right now and Conti GP's are $30. (They're having a tire/tube sale)
