Introductions - Hello.

New here, I just started cycling to stay in shape after graduating from high-school last year. I'm at the community college this year so there arent many clubs to join to stay active, so I took up spinning and I'm loving it. I'm hoping to get a road bike soon and start racing once i get some riding experience under my belt!

I'm from Portland Oregon.

Anyway, just wanted to say Hi.

looks like we're in the same boat. this is my first semester at a community college in mississippi (their "P.E." classes are walking and bowling!). I bought my mountain bike after I joined a spin class. What are your spin classes like? Our instructor races professionally, and he kicks our a** every time.

Are there any cycling clubs in your area? If so, and they have organized rides you're interested in, once you get your bike, try it out! I joined a local cycling club this summer, and it's been great.
