Finding someone to modify frame

Hi,
I have a soma double cross and I'm wondering which modifications would be priced reasonably

a) Disc mount on the rear
b) Change dropouts to horizontal ones
c) Move around various housing stops.

Are b) & c) reasonable to do?

Any idea what the prices would be like? Also can someone suggest an afforable framebuilder to do any of these in Portland,OR area? I'd even consider shipping my frame out of state for a good enough reason.

Still no replies? Here`s my not very knowledgeable guess: Housing stops, cheap. Disc mount, more. Dropouts, sign over the deed to your house. Does that match with what you were already thinking?

A few comments: I`m not into disc brakes, so I haven`t paid much attention, but it seems to me that things get complicated when you want horizontal dropouts in combination with disc brakes. I think somebody (Paragon?) markets some kind of combo where the disc tabs move with the dropouts. Finally, you`re in Portland and you want to ship your frame out of state to be modified? Ain`t Portland pretty much the biggest hotbed of framebuilders this side of New England?

I just got through investigating the same thing. I found Waltworks does most if not all of what you're looking for. http://www.waltworks.com/dev/faq/repair.php

I'd like to have Paragon dropouts, but I think since I want to learn about frame building, I'll get a jig from Anvil and weld it in myself. I just need to find out if I need a seatstay/chainstay brace.

If I were you, I'd get in touch with one or more of the local Portland framebuilders and see if they'd be willing to give you a quote on the work you want done. You're lucky to have so many competent framebuilders close to you.
