Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - Royal Nuevo vs. Custom Nuevo

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Honestly, the only difference I can figure out is that one is black and 8 grams heavier. Am I missing something?
custom nuevo = sealed bearing
royal nuevo= loose ball bearing
why not go w/ rx-1? they're lighter, and as smooth and sealed.

How about get neither because you're wasting money unless you use slotted track cleats.
Seriously, no one cares about how blingy your pedals are.

Agreed. If the only thing that makes the Customs "custom" is sealed bearings, its not for me.

If you have a track frame = high BB, I'd vote for some older mtn pedals. Great stuff, if a tad wider sometimes.
