So I got the new set of avid pads and had a hell of a time trying to get the new pads in the metal cradel like adaptor that then fits into the caliper. Anyways, they didnt fit the cradel hanger right. So after noticing that the pads - not the copper plate, were larger on the new set, creating the difficulty. Also, the new pads were stamped B3 the old originals were stamped B2. I never knew there was a choice in pads, especially Avids own pads. Whats the deal, the pads are noticably larger. Ill check with the lbs and get back.
