Zoobomb would be fun and is definitely a Portland thing to do. I'll be out of town, otherwise I'd offer to show you around. Looks like you're going to miss the Massacre by two days, and I don't know if any other events around then. I'm sure theres someone on the forums who'll show you cool places to bike.

Zoo bomb is where a bunch of folks meet up at the top of burnside (I think) and just mob down at like, 1 in the morning to the zoo, usually on a bunch of little kids bikes. Then you hop on the transit, ride to the top and repeat. I dont know any specifics on it, though I'm sure some PDX cats on here can fill you in/correct any errors I made in my explanation. I havent ever done it, though saw it in action last time i was in portland for an M. Ward show. Looks really really fun and I think there are bikes to be borrowed if you dont have a little kid bike.

Looks amazingly enjoyable. Don't know if I will have access to a kids bicycle while i'm down there but if I do I'm sure I will try it. Thanks.

it starts at the zoo. catch the max to washington square park, and head a little way up the hill. my friends and i went to mini bike winter, and had a blast! portland is a fun town to ride. my girlfriend and i want to move there someday. anyway, here's some footage of our trip.....
