Will a 9 speed derailleur (Chorus) work with a 10 speed cassette(Veloce) and 10 speed brifter (Daytona)?
Thanks!

From what I understand, the 9-speed (and perhaps even the 8-speed) derailleurs have plenty of "reach" to work with an otherwise 10-speed setup. Of course, you'll need to set the limit screws and perform the normal derailleur adjustment after the swap but that's something you'd need to do anyway. I'm pretty sure the jockey cogs on the 9-speed derailleur can handle the narrower 10-speed chain without any problems. Good luck!
I'm not a Campy expert but I believe that 8-speed and early 9-speed Campy rear derailleurs had a throw ratio different from later 9-speed and 10-speed rear derailleurs. And I don't know how to tell the difference. Suggest you check at Branford Bike, they have a website.

I'm not a Campagnolo expert either, but as far as I remember, the pivot year is 2001. Derailleurs from 2001 and beyond work with shifters from 2001 and beyond.
I haven't seen anything that ensures compatibility between those two eras, but if that's your problem, you might enquire at Jtek-Engineering (http://jtekengineering.com/shiftmate.htm). They might have a Shiftmate model that works for that kind of situation.

Yes, they will work fine.

Correct. I guess you can tell the difference by the location of an adjustment screw... I think I learned that from Branford Bike or Harris Cyclery.

I ran a 2006 10s Centaur RD w/old Chorus 8s Ergo shifters and it worked pretty well, but not perfectly.

Should be more or less fine.
