ok so I don't know much bout this but I was looking at the motobecane messenger and it says it has a freewheel...does that mean that it can coast?

yeah you need the sacred blood of gnh'nalthek. then and only then will your "motobecane messenger" coast.

The freewheel does NOT come installed. Installation is simple enough, just screw it on with the notches facing out, just don't cross thread.
