I've been trying to find a map/info on the MTB trail at Mohican. I rode it last year in a semi-blizzard and remember it being pretty epic. It seems like it was a 15-20 mile loop. All I saw when I googled it were descriptions of an 8 or so mile trail. I remember going counter clockwise from a DNR area, crosing a river on a bridge and heading back as the flakes flew. What's the difference between the 8 mile loop I read about and the 15+ mile loop we did?

PS - How much snow is on it now? Looking to be out there Easter weekend.

here you go, go to joinomba.org this is the Ohio moutain bike website, click trails, when that opens look for the spoke junkies logo and under it is a review section, click that, click ohio trails, click mohican state park, map is at the bottom of the reveiw. Can't help you with the conditions though.

Cleveland area Mountain Bike association has info on their website also:

Snow? Do you mean right now???? About a foot!!! Worst snow for march on Ohio in years. The good news is Ohio is really weird weather. For example it only hit about 25 today, but is (according to weather.com) going to hit 50 on thursday.

If it's too sloppy to ride outside when you get here, you could drive an hour north to Cleveland and ride indoors at Ray's Mountain Bike Park.

Thanks for the info. Speaking of snow, I'm in central Wisconsin. Ray's is also on the agenda.
