Hey guys, just curious what you think of this bike?

The owner claims less than 20 miles on it and is selling it with additional chain rings and cogs for 150.

Thanks in advanced.

Hey we're in the same area! I saw that as well and thought it was suspiciously cheap. I guess the only way to find out is to go look at it.

At 150, it's still a good idea, but don't get the delusion that it's a $800 bike with a $650 discount. The msrp is $400.

Yes, I do indeed know that. I'm more looking for opinions on the bike itself. I've needed a SS for goofing around campus that doesn't require a ton of attention to maintain. This seems to fit the bill nicely.

I'm in Cookeville right now, but live in M'boro usually. College is fun...

I do indeed plan on going to have a glance or two. Hopefully I'm able to get it :)

It'd probably be good for your purposes. One thing I don't like about that frame is the lack of disc mounts. I was considering ordering one from bikesdirect but that was a turnoff. For a commuter/campus bike though, vees are probably just fine.

I don't like BikesDirect because you're ording through the mail and don't have an opportunity to ride the bike like you would at an LBS. But you don't have that problem. I'd certainly try it out.
