Can I use a regular ISIS crank puller(CWP-6C).

Hmm, would a normal square taper puller work better? Since the "Power spline" is smaller than ISIS...

Powerspline uses the standard crank puller, not ISIS/Octalink

Edit: Early versions of the powerspline were not to durable and there is an updated version(As I recall)

My mechanic replaced 2 chainrings for 20 bucks today. I didn't even have to buy a tool or strip the threads. Or worry about Teflon vs Titanium grease, (8$US a tube) or the right amount of torque to remount the arms. (Torque wrench ???$)

Like Accountants, Lawyers or Web Developers, sometimes, paying someone who knows the *F* they are doing is worth what you might save by screwing it up instead of riding!

If your goal is to be a mechanic, you need a master to show you in person. Pulling cranks without messing them up is priceless. Messing up an Ultegra crank because you messed up is, well, messed up!

Good luck! We need you!

I must be special because a "master" never showed me, at least not in person (do repair books count?). Despite that I've managed to remove and install dozens and dozens of cranks and bottom brackets over a 20+ year period with out damaging even one. I wonder how I've been so lucky.

Take this advice. Then buy a new bb/crankset.
