I wondered that myself. The link that doesn't seem to be working is about an event in February.
There is a St. Patrick's Day parade in Dallas. A Craigslist posting a while back mentioned they normally had some funky bikes in it. I may try to go see it just for that reason.

Randya,
Thanks for clearing that up. I won't be at St. Ratricks Day, but I will be riding my bike in the local St. Patricks day. I will probably ride my chopper and I'm told that there will be a number of freak bikes and tall bikes.

Dang, didn't even notice it was Rat and not Pat there in the title! Oh well. Not that I'll be in Chicago anyway.

Not goin nowhere that day. The Missus and I had our firsts ever that day and we re-enact it each year for the last 37.
NYC's parade is privately hosted, I was not permitted to ride. The Ratrick's humoured me when stated...
"Tallbike boxing! Figure 8 Racing! TV smashing! Car Smash! Trash can races! Possibly a tazing for charity!"
Just posted on the ZooBomb web site - Capn iFUN! aka Warchild won the St. Ratrick's Day Tall Bike Joust! (http://www.zoobomb.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12077) Woo Hoo!

HMM...
Being a bachelor, I just donned the green hoodie because it was clean/didn't smell.
I've been more occupied by the fact Boise State University got No. 3 Louisville in Birmingham, Alabama for the first round of the NCAA tournament after winning the WAC title in New Mexico this weekend. They got them the last time in 1994 and this is the best team we've ever fielded. The women got Idaho State in the WNIT tournament. Seems to be a sports program in Boise?
I was lucky though! Not the bike YET but I got a nice old Weller soldering iron and power supply as a gift and my friend is looking for the iron's stand...Wellers are green in color! I got a part that enabled me to trade and pocket $10 so I had a nice time with the money.
I'm not much on corned beef so if I'd thought about it I would've bought a can of kraut and some polska kielbasa...
