recently purchased a genesis flyer.

i would like to modify the wheels with either pair of velocity rims or campagnolo pista's. not sure which hubs to go for........ have been advised on system ex, i understand that they are pretty entry level?

i would be grateful if anyone could shed some light on hubs?

many thanks in advance

In order to pick a hub it would be beneficial to know what you are going to use the wheels for. The rims you are looking at are decent rims. If you are riding in the street I would say something like formulas, Milwaulkee 4 stars, IRO or something else along those lines will roll just fine for you. If you want to spend some more cash on hubs, say you will be using the wheels mostly on a track, then if I was putting the wheels together I would go for some Dura Ace hubs.

i will be using the bike in the city (london) and am not keen on quick release hubs.

i am torn between the velocity deepv v rims and the campagonolo pista's. any thoughts or have you ridden with either? leave the price out of it as clearly the campagnolos are pricier but would be keen to know of any experiences with either.

many thanks
