I'm registered for the Metric. We've got 4 of us doing the Metric and one doing the full 100.
COOL!!!!!!!!!! Hopefully I'll see you there.

Forgive the tangential thread, but does anyone know what conditions are at Mohican (Thursday 3/13)? Any wild guess as to when will it be ridable?
Wolf,
I'm going to go down tomorrow afternoon and give the track a look and see how it is. I'm planning on riding it next weekend(3/22) if the conditions permit.
I'll post something tomorrow evening and let you know.

Wolfgang,
I just got back from Mohican. The trail is in pretty bad shape in places. I guess from all the snow storms and ice storms we've had in the past month, there was a stretch of about a mile that there were about 15 - 20 trees down across the trail. There is still quite a bit of snow on the trail. Another week and it should be pretty good. The trees though are another thing. The trees were big oak trees probably 3 foot in diameter. It will probably be awhile before they get them cleared off.
Hope this helps.
Be safe,
Ray
That's very helpful info. I will be watching the Loudonville weather. Just to be sure, we're talking about that big ~ 20 mile loop, right? I'm not opposed to dismounting and "portaging" around some trees. Does the trail officially close if it's too wet? Thanks again for your help. If you ever need trail beta in Wisconsin, I'll hook you up.
Wolfgang,
I'm not for sure if it closes or not. It couldn't get much wetter than it was today. Its rained for 2 days and that 21" of snow we got earlier in the week, has just about all melted except for a few places. The rivers and creeks are up over there banks.
Yes, I'm talking about the 24.5 mile loop. I started there at the campground entrance off of Rt.3. and went on around from there. The tree thing was aggrevating. I just turned around and went back the way I came after I saw that many trees down on the trail. There were alot of hikers out today, but I was the only mountain bike.
I hoping to go back next Saturday with my brother, weather permitting. I'll update you on what I find if I go back next weekend.
Have a good weekend,
Ray
Back from Ohio. Some pretty rough weather deterred us from riding Mohican. West Branch and Reagan were also closed while we were out there. Are they good? I did spend a couple hours at Ray's. Well worth it. Any Ohio MTB series races near Akron this summer? Thanks again for the help RayFrady. Hope you dry out soon.
So who else raced this?
What a long day. I only did the Metric, can't imagine suffering thru the full 100 miler. The mud wore me out early on and my lack to training finished me off. At least I'll be better prepared if I can make it back next year.
