I was browsing SRM website and noticed that DuraAce Compact version is now $2675, thats what around 600 bucks drop from what it was before? Is this because of upcoming wireless version, or is this because of more competition?

It's probably because you were looking at it for just the crank, not with the head unit, etc. ;)

Yeah you are right. :o I guess last time I looked there head unit was included as part of the package.

Yeah, but they sell the cranks separately under the 'accessories' section. It's weird.
