Hey all,

Anyone here ride from NW IN to downtown? I want to go up there this summer, and would love to ride (have you seen the price of gas! :eek: ) ..... I'm a relative noob (rode back and forth to PUC last summer), but after a month of riding, I think I could make it (I live in Highland).

Anyone up for a try? Just to say you did it? I'm guessing there are a bunch of you who do it.....

I commuted from Munster to downtown Chicago last year quite often. It's a neat trip and i'm planning on doing it again this year when the weather gets nicer.

Under no circumstances go through Rainbow Park on your commute home in the evening. Bad, bad, bad neighbourhood. I made that mistake once. Good thing I got out alive, never again.

Drop me a PM if you want to go out for some riding as I also have a few routes to cedar lake.
