Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - Wald Mesh Lift-Off basket with moustache bars?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. I'm currently building up a trek soho s as a grocery bike, and was thinking about putting moustache bars onto it.
I'm yet to buy the front basket, but i was considering going with wald's mesh lift-off basket (http://www.amazon.com/Wald-933GB-Lift-Off-Bicycle-Basket/dp/B000YBEKDI/ref=sr_1_30?ie=UTF8&s=sporting-goods&qid=1205170973&sr=1-30).
Does anyone know if this basket is compatible with moustache bars?
I should have no problems mounting the basket if the bars are mounted "upside down" (rise instead of drop), but i'd like to mount them the standard way if possible.
Thanks!

i have a friend with the giant wald who uses it with mustache bars. he mounts them backwards, a la bullhorns, to get them to fit. it looks weird, but he was just using what he had laying around already.
I just mounted the Wald lift off basket on my wife's town bike. Not the same bars, but similar enough to make an educated assessment (see bars below). Moustache bars should not be a problem. I'll try to take a picture with the basket mounted.

awesome, thanks! I'm really hoping i can mount them with the bars in the normal position (w/ drop), but i like them in the "prominade" style too, so it's no loss as long as i can get it on.

Thinking on it a bit more, the only thing that might interfere is the brake levers. Do you have the levers mounted in the standard moustache position (in the bends)? Even so, the basket and bracket have a good bit of adjustability. Notice how long the stem is on the bike above. I'm sure your moustache bar equipped bike will have a shorter stem and even with the brake hoods it will probably clear.
yep, standard positions.
thanks for the info, this helps-- i wasn't aware of the basket's adjustability. that was my main concern... can you adjust clearance (ie, out from the stem)?
can you adjust clearance (ie, out from the stem)?Yes.
