Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I weighed myself today, with normal clothes (cycling tights underneef), bag, lock, helmet, etc. And came out to 18lbs over normal weight.
Crazy!
Lets see: Hiking boots, Flannel lined jeans, North Face Denali jacket, Windproof outer shell, Gaitors, Gloves, Hat, Bag (2x Tubes, ajustable wrench, allens, pump, 2 patch kits, liter of water, extra gloves, socks, and batteries, a can of beer or two), U-lock, Headlamp....
I bet it is close to 40+ lbs vs. my normal attire.
It lightens up to just the weight of my bag as summer comes.

I went across the truck scales at work once:
265 - self = 70 - bike = 30 - cloths, food, rack, panniers = 8 lb (battery for lights)

me=165lbs
bike=21lbs
pack=27lbs (mini-u-lock/h2o, hoodie)
72916.7 Pennyweight, give or take a scruple
130-140 here depending.
When riding around town/to skool, the chrome bag with locks, legal pads, small amount of food and flat tire stuff weighs around ~15-20?
Sometimez I carry heavy Chem Phys or Calc books that weigh 20-30 lbs each so thats a different feel entirely.
If I am going out on a group ride or for a solo workout then the heaviest things are always the inner tube/compact pump and water if I am bringing a significant amount.
Even less than normal. I ride nude.
(this post was a lie)
