Given that its never been off-road.. you should get some good money for it.

You would have to pay me to take that monstrosity off of your hands.

There's a Kona sort of similar to yours on the local craigslist...they had been asking $1500, price now dropped to $1k... Not sure how its condition compares to yours, though...

that big of a frame usually brings less... mediums usually sell for more. I'd say 800 - 1100 somewhere in there. what year is the frame?

I put about 50-100 miles on it off road, bought a road bike, and decided I don't want this anymore. It has probably at least 5 nicks or paint scrapes, but the frame is in great condition.

How much would I have to pay you? Would it be similar to the price I should ask for the bike? if so how much? Thanks for the help.

Yep, in california we pave the roads with rocks.

Luckily, I only rode it about 6 or 7 times so other than my neglegence to clean off the mud which caused some paint flake, it's in good condition.

Didn't you die on that rock garden?

Yep.

I posted it on CL for 1000$ and no ones biting. People are looking for great deals, I fear I may have to go down to 800.

Feeling like I might be old enough (and sore enough) to rate a squishy but that's too big for me.

Send me a link to your CL listing and I'll pass it around here... I know some tall people.

In this case, she got sponsored by Converse last year; those are a pair of stickered-over PF Flyers. :D

For that poorly assembled heap, $350 max.

I literally rode it probably 3 times.

Poseur, defined.

The parts alone individually is worth more than 350, despite the mismatched parts. You're advice is taken with a grain of salt.

Luckily, I have someone interested in it at 800.

Me too. The "clipless Cons" comment reminded me of a thread a while back on MTBR "20 miles on a fixie in pumps" ala some high heels with custom -built-by-husband-in-the-shed cleat fixings on the bottom. It could be done to cons too.
