I've got a Kona project 2 fork I want to fit to an old touring frame, but I want to run a 700 wheel. Of course, a 700 wheel is too high for the v-brake attachements.
What I'm searching for, and I'm hoping someone will know if there is one, is a v-brake with an extra long block housing, so the block can go much higher on the brake arm than usual.
The longest I've seen is about 2.5 cm. I'm looking for about 5 cm.

Here's hoping

Try here. http://www.paulcomp.com/
Look at the motobmx canti. That should fit the bill.

how about an example that doesn't cost $125 each? I know the Paul stuff is worth it, but this would be for a low-budget experiment...is there anything?
