anybody ridden both, or either?
i've ridden a 2006 fox and i love it, but the new magura looks great on paper and they are a great company. trying to decide which to get for my xc race bike (kona explosif scandium)
i ride light parts but my main concern with the fork is stiffness (for fun i ride a pace rigid fork, but i can't be as competitve in a race with a rigid front) and ride quality with weight and durablilty coming second. tuneability is theorectically important but i never actually mess with settings of components too much, i like to just hop on and ride.
looking at specs and reviews it appears the magura may be stiffer, though the fox is more tuneable and might be a bit smoother especially on fast little bumps if you set it up right. anybody have any experience that would help me decide here??
