Classic & Vintage - NR Record RD pulleys?

I have seen Bullseye jockey wheels used in Campagnolo Super Record and Nuovo Record derailleurs quite often. I do know that SunTour and Simplex jockeys have a slightly larger diameter to the internal opening, than do Shimano and Campagnolo. I believe you will be able to use the ones in the picture, but I'm not 100% sure.

Thanks (to all responders). Did you get those pulleys from this auction, or are they Bullseye? USAZorro mentioned Bullseye and I know they'll work but I think these are something else. Anyway, the consensus seems to be largely positive, so I think I'll give it a go.

I too would like to know... did they really come with 16 spacers? and were they all different sizes for different applications?

I got the derailer from an ebay auction, it came with the pulleys already installed. They look the same as the ones in the auction you linked to, but who knows?

Sounds good. I don't need them but I need pulleys for a c-record RD and I have some alloy sealed bearing ones but the diameter of the c-record bolt it too big to use the OEM washers so I have to stack a bunch of washers together to make it work. It's a little sloppy and I'd prefer a cleaner solution.

Didn't Nuovo Record pulleys have either 9 teeth (early version)
or 10 teeth? Velobase and all of the photo's of Bullseye pulleys I've seen
are 10 teeth. the Pulleys in the linked ebay auction are 11 teeth.

true. but would it matter? Would it affect the dérailleur negatively? Less clearance on the big cog if you want to run wide ratio perhaps?

These aren't Bullseye. I purchased a set of Bullseye back in the early 80s. They came with simple flat washers as spacers. As already noted, these are 11-tooth. May be a bit too large diameter wise, for the NR pulley cages.
The Bullseye pulleys worked fine on my Dura Ace EX and later Campy SR derailleurs.
But comparing the old pulleys with a modern Ultegra 11-tooth pulley, an 11-tooth is noticeably larger.

The chain may jump off the jockey pulley and drop past the pulley cage closest to the derailleur body.

well, since a chain link is always the same length, increasing the number of teeth would also increase the diameter of the pulley. with such a short cage derailer I'm just wondering if you would run into problems with the chain between the pulleys themselves, or against the cage of the derailer. even a millimeter or two might do it.

I have no idea myself - just thinking as I type.
