517 - lightweight rim brake XC rim
317 - lightweight disc brake XC rim
223 - not quite as lightweight with inferior joint (compared to 517 & 317) disc brake XC rim

As far as which is comparable to rhyno lites, none. Try the 321. www.mavic.com

Yes those are all sub 400 (except 223) gram rims, which if you plan on doing strictly xc, then they willl be fine. Anything like stairs i would recomend either the Rhynolite XLs, 321s or Singletracks.

i have a set of 223,s and they have held up for me, i have dont lots of 2-3 foot drops to flat in them, hit rock gardens at speed. havent bent them yet, but im only 135 pounds so that makes a difference. not sure on how light that are, i dont have mush to compair them to. but i raced XC all summer on them and they have treated me well.

I can say the same thing about my 517's and I weigh 155 lbs. They have held up well and treated me great. Small jumps/drops and hard hits on rocks and stuff. Bent a spoke last night but no wheel problems.

I would say the F219's are comparable to the Rhinolites.

These are disc specific however.
