Mountain Biking - Let's Play Spot That Line

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

To his left, to his left. Everything he rides should be off to his left..

yeah, the right side of the pic seems the best. this would be a nasty surprise if you were coming with some speed off the top.

The first thing I thought was that you should have gone to your left...and that was without looking at the second picture!

Any of them work, as long as you aren't the fruit cake ("I usually wear a bandanna over my head to keep the wind from blowing my hair all around") in the photo.

It wasn't rocky enough to pick out a line, the middle had maybe 1 foot high rocks at most, I could just sail through the middle.

For a minute, I thought that was me at one of the Cary trails. But then I realized the guy in the pic doesn't have a yellow Rockhopper on top of him, still clipped in and the Cary trail wasn't near water treatment, just nuclear waste. Other than that, I can identify with that guy (drinking water)
Naw, i was going to post this, this is fun. Mine:

The black line easily the easiest to clear at a moderate pace, Pheard's line is all over the shop IMO
The blue line i would take would it be a downhill race, as the black seems slightly off camber and if it wewre on some of the trails i ride, you could boost it a bit at the top, clearing half of it in the process.
The red line looks hard, but a heck of a lot of fun when dialled!

New pic. Off to the right of the pic its a little roller, and just cut off is the rocky downramp to the gnarly double the kid is standing next to. Harder than it looks, this was the demise of 4 bikes (Thats just what i saw!) in an hour or so on practice day. The line i take is the B-Line in blue - the wimpy line:

The yellow line is the hardest, i saw but one person clear it out of 350 or so.
Red line proved fastest, but difficult and harsh for we hardtailers.
