I'll be going to Kingsport, TN on business for a couple of weeks in June. I'm planning on taking my folding road bike. Would like to get in some morning/evening rides before/after work, about 15 miles. Also looking for something around 50-60 miles for the weekend. Hills are welcomed and encouraged. Any suggestions?

I don't know the roads real well out there, but yakmurph posted some "local roads: Hwy 321N; Buttermilk Road; White Wing Road; Hickory Creek Road; Kingston Pike; Paw Paw Plains Road; Grubb Road; Woodlawn Road.
And all those other itty-bitty country roadlets that leech off the above roadettes..."

Plenty of possibilities, and some real hills if you get up on the Cumberland Plateau to the west or the Blue Ridge and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park to the south.

What brings you to Kingsport?

I do not recall the website right now but you can google "kingsport bicycle association" and their website has a whole list (with cue sheets) of local rides. Also, they tend to do a short ride on Tues and Thursday around 6 PM in the Summer. They also do an organized longer ride on Sat and Sunday during the Summer.

The question was about Kingsport, not Kingston. ;)

I don't know that area, but you should try riding up Roan Mountain (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roan_Mountain_%28Roan_Highlands%29) if you get a chance.

Sorry, I am easily confused. Here is Kingsport Bicycle Association (http://kba.tripod.com/).

Lots of great roads there, too. Velo Vol's Roan Mtn suggestion is great. Shorter rides should not be hard to find, but watch out for nice rural roads that have been turned into congested suburban roads without improvements (not that that is unique to Kingsport).
