Even though Buds bike shop is no more, the ride still lives on.. Very fast training ride, leaves at 5:30pm from Starbucks in downtown Claremont.. Starbucks is on 2nd St. and Yale Ave. Parking at Jax Bicycle Shop on 1st Street.

If you get dropped, you can take a shortcut across the dam via raging waters entrance. This cuts about 1 mile off the 8 mile loop and you can get back onto the main group..

On a different note, did anyone ride the rose bowl ride last night?

There has been ongoing construction going on at Raging Waters, so be on the lookout for construction equipment on the shortcut. The pavement was wet through there the last couple of times I was there, so those with garage queens might want to avoid that section.
