My girlfriend and I have been dating for about four months, and I'm totally crazy about her, but she lives about two hours away from me. In Illinois. So it's a given that she wanted to get out of there, but she's kinda stuck. She's been trying to get into nursing schools for quite a while know, but she's been getting rejected or put on waiting lists and it's really been bringing her down. She already has one college degree and graduated with almost a 3.5gpa, so there hasn't been a reason for her to get rejected. She just couldn't justify moving someplace without being able to go to school there. She's leaving for spain to visit her sister on Saturday, and is supposed to get her acceptance/rejection notice from a university while she is away. She has been worrying about this since she applied, and knew that she wouldn't be able to forget about it while she is supposed to be enjoying herself on vacation.
They called her today to tell her that they reviewed her application, transcripts, and test scores, and that they want her to attend in the fall! And over a week before they said she would know! She called me here at work to tell me, and we are both exstatic. This great news couldn't have come at a better time.
I'm so happy I just wanted to tell everyone.
