From what I've heard about these lights, they're a bad deal at any price.

I'm curious what is so bad about them.

Heavy battery, outdated LED, cumbersome setups, etc. For less than a $100, buy a Fenix flashlight instead. You get brighter light, lighter and easier setup.

There's reason they are closing this light out, it's a terrible light, and it doesn't sell well.

I looked at that, but from the reviews i've read online there are very few people who like this light, and many who think its a pile of junk.

Long live FENIX - and its 180 lumens for $50 with incredible form factor and rock-solid stability. Absolutely unbeatable.

I've seen the discussions on Fenix in the past. That does look like a good way to go.
