This is always a question to a road bike newbie.

Most often, for road bikes, while riding, in order not to have too curved legs - easy to get numbness after long distance riding if legs are too curved, the saddle will adjust to be higher. The rider's foot cannot touch the ground easily.

What will be the effective and non-clumsy ways to get on the bike at the start and get off at the end, without tilting the bike unexpectedly.

Any advice?

Un-clip the left foot while rolling to a stop, just before stopping place your weight on the right foot while still clipped in, then slide off the saddle and stand on the left foot. When starting, pull the right foot to the top of the stroke, push down and slowly slide back up onto the saddle and clip in the left foot. I think this makes sense.

CHEERS.

I do the same as Dutchy (except opposite foot), but often just lean the bike over
