This is the sort of rubbish I come home to every evening. Don't all feel sorry for me at once -- the view from where I live. :D

At the moment I'm at the office so look out over Edinburgh towards Fife, over the river. (I also look out over a large flat window where 3 exhibitionist young ladies like to saunter about with no clothes on- to the delight/consternation of staff in our offices)

At home I look over the river to the Forth Bridges and up to Blackness Castle.

I see the back of my co workers head. He's ugly, and I'm strait as well. So, really, on a vew basis, it's not great.

I can look out the window and see:

Which is ok.

I'd rather see

Not that I know anything about sailing, but it sure seems idealic.

Edit: add:

I'd sell my bikes and buy a simple beach cruiser that I'd store aboard..

And I'd cruise around the world to meet all the BF people I see here.

Chris, you officially suck for making me hate my view ;) !

Course, I like my house: comes complete with a loving wife, great daughter, my bikes, my jeep, and assorted chores I need to do..

Ok Chris, you're back on the OK list again... ;)

Chris, you have my sincere condolences. No one should have to suffer through that debilitating distraction on a daily basis. So here's my proposition, let's exchange places for the next 6 months. You can come up to the states and be dazzled by our ice and snow storms and I'll go down there and save you from that disquieting scenery.

Chris I will one up him you've said on several occasions that you would love to ride in the rain some. Well we've got plenty of that here I recommend November through July. I am willing to trade anytime just PM me.

Chip - BikeForums at work!? You should be ashamed of yourself! :D

Chris - you should move, nobody should be forced to live under those conditions.

As for me - I'm looking at the Manhattan skyline from across the river with only a small tree in the way.

No way! November's the start of the "wet season" here -- and I'll have some of that exotic passionfruit later in the year. Guess I just have to put up with it for a little longer yet.

Hi Greg, long time no hear! That's the view over Dunlop's Canal at Mermaid Waters, with the Beechmont Range in the background. You must have got some great shots in the Glasshouse Mountains, I'm leading a ride up there next weekend. :D

Feel free to drop in sometime!

Hmmmm I'll add. Computer is in my spare bedroom that is chock full of STUFF!

To the left - an old dresser devoted to bike clothes/equipment and tires. To the right - a couple of clothes racks full of mah way too many clothes - ooo and a very cool floor lamp that has several colored lights on it (bet it was marketed to the college kids). And to the back - 3 bikes.

Oh and under my chair - my kitten staring at me. PLAY WITH ME. And so I shall ...
